DBSA Colorado Springs to host Women’s Wellness Walk at Panorama Park, Oct. 5
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) Colorado
Springs, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, education, and resources for people
living with mood disorders, today announced that it will host a Women’s Wellness Walk at Panorama
Park on Saturday, October 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Women’s Wellness Walk aims to raise awareness about mental health issues impacting women
and to promote overall wellness through physical activity and community engagement. Participants
will have the opportunity to enjoy a walk at Panorama Park, surrounded by supportive peers and
advocates for mental health.
“We are very excited to host a Women’s Wellness Walk as part of our ongoing commitment to
supporting mental health in our community,” said Marissa Valdez, President of DBSA Colorado
Springs. “This event is more than just a chance to get moving; it’s about creating a space where we can
openly discuss mental health and support one another. We hope to connect with participants and
provide access to valuable mental health resources in the community.”
The walk is open to people of all ages and backgrounds who wish to show their support for women’s
mental health. All funds raised will go toward supporting DBSA Colorado Springs’ mission to
improve the lives of people living with mood disorders, including programming, administrative costs,
and fundraising efforts.
